Qi Therapy

Qi Therapy is a hand’s on, energy based bodywork modality. It is partly based in Polarity Therapy (Randolph Stone), partly in Acupresseure. It also utelizes Craniosacral and myofacial release work where appropriate. It is an excellent choice for individuals who are afraid of needles. Through a Qi Therapy session these imbalances and blocks that prevent the Vital Life Energy from moving freely through out the body are released, which sets the stage for better health and works well separately as well as an adjunct to herbal therapies to relieve stresses and imbalances that are created by illness.

WHAT CAN Qi THERAPY DO FOR YOU?

You are likely to feel deeply relaxed and revitalized after a session.Qi Therapy can give relief from specific problematic health situations both on the physical and emotional levels, because the effects go very deeply. This includes problems with tight and painful muscles to problems with stress, insomnia, headaches, etc.

Polarity Therapy was developed by Dr. Randolph Stone, DO, DC, ND (Chiropractor, Osteopath and Naturopath) (1890-1981). Dr. Stone having studied Ayurvedic Medicine and TCM, based Polarity Therapy mainly in the Ayurvedic tradition and its underlying principles of pulsation of energy; neutral, positive and negative, as formulated by the ancient masters from India.

Acupressure is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been used for several thousand years. Manual pressure, usually with the fingers is applied to select acupoints, along the meridians. These poins are the same as acupuncture points. By manipulating these points chosen appropriately, one can achieve release of energy and establish optimal flow.
